Salesforce economy will create 20,300 jobs and USD 3.9 revenue by 2026 in UAE. According to a new IDC report, Salesforce and its ecosystem of partners in the UAE will generate 20,300 new employment and USD 3.9 billion in new business revenues by 2026. The study also reports that Salesforce is also creating tremendous development for its partner ecosystem in the UAE, which will earn USD 6.30 for every USD 1 Salesforce earns locally by 2026.
IDC predicts that cloud-related technologies would enable organisations in the Middle East and Africa to focus on developing their digital HQs to offer customer and employee success from anywhere. Remote employment, contactless client involvement, and environmental initiatives are becoming more common than ever, according to IDC, and this trend is expected to continue.
Salesforce technology have helped its customers respond to unpredictability as more organisations build up their digital HQs to support an increasingly distant workforce — enabling remote work and remote engagement with customers, and allowing them to launch new products in weeks rather than months.
Salesforce technologies can also assist businesses in making long-term plans. According to IDC, global migration from on-premise software to the cloud could save up to 1 billion metric tonnes of CO23 between 2021 and 2024. Salesforce has set a target of using 100 percent renewable energy for its global operations by 2022, and all of its customers now have access to a carbon-neutral cloud.
“The Salesforce economy in the UAE is set to generate USD 3.9 billion in new revenue and create 20,300 new jobs by 2026 – underlining the importance of cloud-based digital transformation in fueling the UAE’s diversified economic growth,” said Thierry Nicault, Area Vice President – Middle East and North Africa, Salesforce.
“The Salesforce partner ecosystem is critical for extending the power of Salesforce to companies of all sizes and industries,” added Thierry Nicault.
He said, “At Salesforce, we’re committed to expanding our partner ecosystem, and creating new pathways to the emerging technology jobs of the future.”
Many of the new jobs generated this year in the Salesforce client base in the UAE require considerable digital skills, such as the use of automation technologies, the Internet of Things (IoT), and other complicated applications. Salesforce’s free online learning platform, Trailhead, and the Trailblazer Community, which accelerates learning through peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and assistance, enable anybody to develop digital skills for the booming Salesforce economy.
