Kaspersky and NASR Esports team up for fearless gaming security

Kaspersky and UAE-based NASR Esports have extended their partnership to enhance cybersecurity knowledge and create a secure gaming environment for players. This collaboration is part of Kaspersky’s global initiative, “Fearless Gaming,” which aims to support esports organizations and educate gamers on online and offline protection.

The joint effort will educate gamers about the importance of cybersecurity in safeguarding their expensive PCs, in-game assets, confidential data, and more, all while ensuring seamless performance. The collaboration includes participation in specialized events, a multi-channel digital content series, and features the Kaspersky brand on the NASR Esports team jerseys.

Kaspersky experts have identified cybercriminals launching over 7 million attacks targeting children through popular game titles in 2022. Vulnerabilities in software and in-game assets like data and online currency can be exploited for data breaches, identity theft, phishing scams, and other malicious activities. Unattended hardware can also be a gateway for cyber exploitation and bullying. This partnership between Kaspersky and NASR Esports aims to equip gamers of all ages with knowledge, best practices, and solutions to game fearlessly and defend against potential risks.
