The third Abu Dhabi Government Leadership Retreat, organized by the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi (DGE) in collaboration with the Department of Economic Development (ADDED), aimed to enhance creative leadership and promote effective collaboration among government leaders in the emirate. Themed “Falcon Economy” the event, held at Strata’s headquarters in Al Ain, brought together 33 delegates from various Abu Dhabi Government entities.
The retreat served as a platform for leaders to converge, align their visions, and exchange valuable knowledge and experiences to support the economic diversification of Abu Dhabi through the Falcon Economy. Additionally, discussions highlighted global government trends that could contribute to solidifying Abu Dhabi’s position as a regional economic powerhouse, facilitating its transition to a smart, sustainable, and inclusive economy aligned with the emirate’s vision.
Key figures, including His Excellency Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, and His Excellency Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi, participated in discussions covering a wide range of topics. These included industry insights, leveraging opportunities in emerging clusters and markets, enhancing competitiveness, streamlining business and investment processes, fostering the innovation ecosystem, and addressing dynamic changes in the human resources sector.
Chairman Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab emphasized the department’s commitment to collaboration and synergy among entities to deliver efficient services to Abu Dhabi’s government entities, citizens, and residents. Chairman Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi highlighted the significance of the partnership in positioning Abu Dhabi as a global economic powerhouse, fostering innovation, diversification, and sustained economic growth.
The retreat concluded with interactive activities and team-building exercises designed to enhance communication, cooperation, and strategic thinking among leaders within the Abu Dhabi Government. Building on the success of its predecessors, the third edition of the Abu Dhabi Government Leadership Retreat contributed significantly to ongoing efforts to ensure a prosperous future for the emirate.
