Oracle is gearing up to showcase its latest innovations in artificial intelligence (AI) at LEAP 2024, with a special focus on supporting Saudi Arabia’s ambitions for an AI-powered economy. At the event, Oracle will unveil cutting-edge cloud applications and AI solutions, underlining its commitment to fostering digital transformation in the Kingdom.
Reham AlMusa, Oracle’s Vice President for Business Applications and Country Leader for Saudi Arabia, highlighted the company’s significant investment of US $1.5 billion in the country. This investment aims to bolster local cloud infrastructure, laying the groundwork for organizations to harness the full potential of AI and other digital technologies. With AI adoption gaining momentum in Saudi Arabia, Oracle aims to play a pivotal role in enabling businesses to innovate and thrive in the evolving landscape.
Oracle’s participation at LEAP 2024 will feature immersive experiences such as the Oracle Red Bull Racing exhibit, demonstrating the synergy between Oracle Cloud and real-time data analytics in Formula 1 success. Additionally, interactive pods focusing on AI applications across various sectors like finance, healthcare, and customer experience, along with Generative AI demo stations, will showcase Oracle’s expertise in addressing complex business challenges.
The event will also shed light on the strategic partnerships between Oracle and prominent Saudi organizations, including J-B, stc, NEOM, and various government entities, highlighting their adoption of Oracle Cloud solutions to drive transformative initiatives.
Saudi nationals attending LEAP will have the opportunity to learn about the ‘Mostaqbali’ (My Future) initiative, aimed at providing technical training to equip Saudi youth with skills for future technology-driven careers. Developed in collaboration with Future Work and endorsed by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the program aims to train and certify 50,000 Saudis in cloud-powered technologies like AI, Machine Learning, and IoT by 2027.
Looking ahead, Oracle has unveiled plans to establish a third public cloud region in Riyadh as part of its ongoing investment in Saudi Arabia’s digital infrastructure. This new cloud region, alongside the existing Jeddah Region and the upcoming NEOM Region, underscores Oracle’s commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s digital transformation journey.
