Autodesk will virtually welcome innovators from across the world to Autodesk University (AU) 2021, the company’s annual design and manufacturing conference. The worldwide learning experience is tailored to professionals in architecture, engineering, building, product design, manufacturing, and media and entertainment – all of whom use Autodesk technology to explore the new potential and develop their respective industries. The conference will take place from October 5–7, with additional regional learning and networking opportunities scheduled from October 8–14.
For the second year in a row, as the world grapples with the consequences of the COVID-19 epidemic, Autodesk will hold its worldwide event on a digital platform, ensuring the sustained health, safety, and wellness of Autodesk’s customers and extended community. The AU 2021 programme has been redesigned for the virtual stage and will be free to view online for all guests.
Each morning of AU 2021, Autodesk President and CEO Andrew Anagnost will deliver a series of General Session keynotes. This daily article will look at Autodesk’s changing position in empowering innovators across industries to solve issues, with an emphasis on the company’s goal and progress toward offering platform-based solutions for its customers based on Autodesk’s current Forge technology. The end result will be a dependable and adaptable collection of cloud-based solutions that integrate technology, connect processes, automate activities, and provide customers with important data.
“Autodesk is constantly reshaping the ways we deliver value to our customers–to ensure we’re providing the tools needed to both meet the intensifying industry demands of today and propel those industries towards a more sustainable world that benefits everyone,” said Andrew Anagnost, president and CEO of Autodesk.
He added, “In building unified and industry-focused solutions on our Forge platform, we’re making an important investment in the resiliency of our customers. This year’s AU is an exploration and celebration of what’s possible as our software solutions become more flexible and fluent so that our customers are able to think creatively, collaborate efficiently and focus on their projects–not their products.”
Autodesk executives and industry pioneers will take the virtual stage at the Design & Manufacturing (D&M), Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC), and Media & Entertainment (M&E) keynotes, in addition to the daily General Sessions at AU 2021. These keynotes will discuss industry news as well as how Autodesk is collaborating with real-world problem solvers to alter how things are constructed, developed, manufactured, generated, and produced in the service of a better world for all. Attendees of the AU 2021 conference will have access to hundreds of expert-led lectures, live Q&A sessions, virtual networking opportunities, and more.
This year’s AU event also marks the official launch of Autodesk’s “Autodesk it” advertising campaign, which highlights the many ways that innovators may collaborate with the company to improve the results of their projects, businesses, and the world at large. Following the launch of Autodesk’s new logo and visual identity in September 2021, this campaign is the next step in the company’s brand evolution. In 2021, the brand campaign will debut in a few areas, with intentions to expand in 2022 and beyond.
After the conference, the content from AU 2021 will be accessible for on-demand watching. Autodesk will also continue to provide full access to the AU Solution Marketplace, where delegates can learn about new, innovative technologies and workflows, as well as engage with industry professionals from the Autodesk partner and developer ecosystem around the world.
In 2021, Autodesk University will be a carbon-neutral event for the seventh year in a row, thanks to its virtual, low-impact style, which underlines Autodesk’s long-standing commitment to sustainable operations. Earlier this year, the company achieved net-zero carbon emissions across its entire business and value chain, as well as setting two new greenhouse gas emission reduction goals that are in line with current climate research.
Beginning October 5, further information regarding AU 2021 announcements, initiatives, and advancements will be available on the Autodesk blog, ADSK News.
