SAP announced that its cloud data centre in Saudi Arabia has been certified as Class B by the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC).

“SAP’s Saudi Arabia data center earning Class B certification from the Communications and Information Technology Commission is another milestone in our support for Saudi Arabia’s nationwide digital transformation,” said Ahmed Al-Faifi, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, SAP Middle East North.

“We are proud to be among the first cloud providers certified for the Saudi government and private sector organizations to advance their digital transformation by storing their public and restricted data in-country on SAP’s data center.”

SAP is working to improve its qualifications so that it can collaborate with the public, corporate, and non-profit sectors to keep public and restricted data in its data centre.
