OPPO has announced that ColorOS 13 rolled out faster than any previous version in its operating system’s history. The global technology brand also expanded its update policy for ColorOS to guarantee four major Android upgrades with five years of security patches for selected flagship models in 2023.
The newest Android-based operating system from OPPO is called ColorOS 13. ColorOS 13 has several amazing features including Smart AOD, Multi-Screen Connect, and Home Screen Management that offer intelligent, user-friendly experiences to people around the world. It is designed for simplicity and comfort with its brand-new Aquamorphic Design.
ColorOS 13 has been delivered to 33 smartphone models globally since August of 2022, making it the fastest and biggest update in the history of ColorOS. The company in a four-month time frame managed to make over 50% more handset models compatible with ColorOS 13 compared to its previous version, ColorOS 12. There are 3 times more users covered during the global rollout of ColorOS 13 compared to ColorOS 12 during the same period.
The new ColorOS update policy was also revealed by OPPO along with the rollout. This includes a promise to provide global customers with certain flagship models with four significant ColorOS updates and five years of security patches beginning in 2023. By continuing to develop ColorOS, OPPO hopes to provide customers throughout the world with intelligent experiences that are more durable and stable.
