Dataiku has unveiled additional AI governance and oversight as part of its unified AI platform, which will enable enterprises to expand analytics and AI efforts from a single centralised control tower. Dataiku 10 comes with a built-in set of tools to assist IT administrators and data scientists evaluate, monitor, and compare models in development or production. Additionally, packaged industry solutions, dedicated workspaces for business users, and accelerators for exploratory data analysis, geospatial analytics, and machine vision have all been included to Dataiku 10. Market basket analysis, product suggestions, plant electricity and CO2 emission projections, and real estate pricing are just a few of the new Dataiku solutions offered across industries, with more on the way.

“The new risk and value assessment capabilities in AI governance plans allow businesses to assess and manage projects across multiple divisions, which now brings together IT leaders, product managers, operations and more. These departments have historically worked in silos, but data has made it imperative to break down these silos,” said Ritu Jyoti, group vice president, AI and Automation Research at IDC.

She added, “As all industries have scaled usage of AI and ML, it’s no longer the sole domain of data scientists and IT managers, but a requirement of the C-suite and more to be able to access and understand. The only way to make this happen is to have one simple language for how departments manage MLOps, creating a consistent framework and approach for every project.”

“We’ve always believed that to scale AI, organizations need to enlist non-experts to the cause and bring more people into the fold to ensure project success. Dataiku 10 helps make that a reality,” said Clément Stenac, CTO and co-founder at Dataiku.

He also said,  “This latest version is focused on governance, MLOps, and industry solutions that increase involvement from AI-adjacent roles such as IT operators, risk managers, project managers, and domain experts.”

AI governance has become a huge pain point for every business as a result of the rapid adoption of AI, as it was never built to manage the massive volumes of data we see today or the democratisation of machine learning (ML). Data is critical for any organization’s ability to allow employees in all departments to make significant business choices, from CMOs to CFOs. Today’s enterprises, on the other hand, are exposing themselves to avoidable dangers without a current data governance policy.

This announcement is the most significant update to the Everyday AI platform, focused on three core functionalities and themes:

1. MLOps – Safely scale with oversight for analytics and AI initiatives

Dataiku 10 includes updates to its MLOps set of tools, which will assist IT operators and data scientists in evaluating, monitoring, and comparing machine learning models in development and production. Teams have better visibility into the behaviour and performance of live models thanks to automatic drift analysis and enhanced what-if simulations.

2. Governance and oversight

In Dataiku, AI Governance provides a dedicated watchtower where AI programmes and project directors, risk managers, and key stakeholders can systematically control projects and models while monitoring progress throughout the whole AI portfolio. Customers will be able to view all of their models in a central model registry, regardless of whether they were built natively in Dataiku or through external tools such as MLflow. For enterprise customers, structured frameworks for project workflows, approvals, and project certification provide improved AI oversight.

3. Deliver value faster with business solutions and accelerators

Our off-the-shelf projects for numerous vertical use cases that clients may customize and apply for their own purposes can help organizations expedite time to value. New geospatial analytics, native deep learning capabilities, supported data exploration, and better visual interactive insights are all examples of sophisticated technologies.
