Delinea has just unveiled its latest stride in fortifying cybersecurity in the Middle East: a new Azure Data Center in Dubai, built in collaboration with Microsoft Azure. This expansion marks a significant step for Delinea, renowned for its seamless Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
With the inauguration of this state-of-the-art facility, customers across the Middle East gain access to enhanced deployment options, tailored to meet their compliance requirements. Mohammad Ismail, Vice President, MEA at Delinea, emphasized the company’s commitment to revolutionizing identity security and privileged access. He highlighted the peace of mind customers can expect, thanks to the cloud-native infrastructure, extensive integrations, and a contractual assurance of 99.99% uptime.
At the recent GISEC 2024 event, Delinea not only introduced its new Azure Data Center but also unveiled advancements within the Delinea Platform. Among these innovations is Privilege Control for Server, a tool aimed at empowering local partners and customers to manage privileged access effectively, especially for Windows, Linux, and Unix servers. This move aligns with Delinea’s strategy to bolster its offerings through strategic acquisitions and integrations, including Authomize and Fastpath capabilities.
The establishment of the Azure Data Center is poised to fuel growth in the PAM market, with projections indicating a substantial increase from US$4.26 billion in 2024 to US$11.31 billion in 2028. The Middle East, with a particular focus on digital acceleration and cloud adoption, spearheads this expansion, led by nations like Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Joining Delinea at GISEC is Shifra, a Dubai-based value-added distributor and a key participant in the Delinea Partner Program. Ahmed Soltan, Managing Partner at Shifra, underlined the company’s steadfast commitment to the Middle East region and its local partners. He expressed anticipation for engaging with customers and prospects at the event, showcasing how their collaboration with Delinea is ushering in cloud-native unified PAM platforms to provide local customers with more secure, resilient, and scalable solutions through the new Data Center.
