Digital Dubai to Empower Government Entities through Dubai iPaaS Framework

In a strategic alliance, Digital Dubai has partnered with Software AG and regional implementation partner Palmira Software House to introduce the Dubai Integration Platform as a Service (Dubai iPaaS) framework across government entities in Dubai. This collaboration aims to provide a customized and cost-effective solution for the integration needs of Dubai Government Entities, aligning with Dubai’s Digital City objectives and the UAE Digital Government Strategy 2025, emphasizing the infusion of digital elements into government strategies.

The announcement was made during an official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony at GITEX Global 2023, featuring H.E. Matar AlHemeiri, Chief Executive of Digital Dubai Government Establishment; Rami Kichli, Senior Vice President for the Middle East and Turkey at Software AG; and Jamal AlMahamid, CEO of Palmira Software House LLC.

The introduction of the advanced iPaaS framework empowers government entities in Dubai, granting them independence and control over their integration processes. This newfound control over data allows for efficient handling of integration requirements, marking a substantial improvement in digital capabilities. The Dubai iPaaS framework, a flexible unified offering pioneered by Digital Dubai, plays a central role in advancing Dubai’s digital city aspirations. Aligned with these goals, Digital Dubai aims to create seamless and accessible digital pathways for residents and visitors, contributing to Dubai’s standing in the digital economy.

H.E. Matar AlHemeiri, Chief Executive of Digital Dubai Government Establishment, expressed Digital Dubai’s commitment to digitalizing every aspect of life for the emirate’s citizens, residents, and visitors. He highlighted the powerful role of Dubai iPaaS in achieving ambitious objectives, enabling seamless integrations among all government entities while offering enhanced security, access control, threat protection, and centralized governance.

Rami Kichli, Senior Vice President for the Middle East and Turkey at Software AG, commended Digital Dubai for setting global standards in innovation and technology advancement. He emphasized Software AG’s commitment to contributing to Dubai’s transformative and innovative landscape, ultimately improving the quality of life through accessible digital journeys. The Dubai iPaaS framework, powered by Software AG’s webMethods Integration and API Management Platform, aims to empower government entities in addressing evolving integration needs.

Jamal AlMahamid, CEO of Palmira Software House, highlighted their enduring partnership with Software AG and their active role in facilitating the Dubai iPaaS framework.
