du and Huawei Team Up for Cloud Innovation

In this collaboration, du and Huawei will establish localized cloud infrastructure within the UAE. The key advantages for UAE enterprises encompass region-specific cloud resources, cutting-edge technologies, and enhanced cost efficiency. By deploying this infrastructure within the country, UAE businesses can host their applications locally, ensuring minimal latency, high-speed connections, and compliance with local data sovereignty regulations. Additionally, this service will grant access to innovative solutions such as big data, artificial intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT) for UAE enterprises, especially benefiting SMEs, startups, and businesses in the fields of gaming, fintech, media & entertainment, automotive, and Web 3.0. The scalable cloud solutions provided will reduce capital expenditure and lower barriers to entry, promoting innovation in these sectors.

Through Huawei Cloud’s comprehensive services, including Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Technology-as-a-Service, and Expertise-as-a-Service, the company aims to expedite digital empowerment. Notably, Huawei Cloud was recognized in Gartner’s 2022 Magic Quadrant for Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Services (CIPS), and its global community of Huawei Cloud developers has now surpassed 4 million.
