Emirates NBD, a prominent banking group serving the Middle East, North Africa, and Türkiye (MENAT) region, has achieved a significant milestone with the launch of its advanced mobile banking application, ENBD X. This cutting-edge app, meticulously crafted to align with the latest technology, security standards, and user experience expectations, is built on a cloud-native architecture. ENBD X redefines the mobile banking landscape, offering unparalleled speed, user-friendly navigation, top-tier security measures, and the widest range of financial products and services available in the market.

The introduction of ENBD X was a phased rollout, and it is now accessible to all Emirates NBD customers. New customers can swiftly open a digital account within three minutes through a hassle-free paperless journey on their mobile devices. The app’s global dashboard empowers customers with a comprehensive view of their entire financial portfolio, keeping them informed about vital updates, including upcoming payments and the status of pending requests.

ENBD X boasts over 150 services, including features like updating Emirates ID and Passport details, initiating fixed deposits, obtaining account balance certificates, reference letters, and real-time credit card loan applications. Transferring funds through ENBD X is as easy as sending a text message, offering diverse global transfer and payment options, along with recommendations for the best transfer method based on the selected beneficiary. Users can effortlessly monitor all transactions across their accounts and cards, download authenticated account statements instantly, and even view images of deposited cheques—a pioneering feature in the region, especially beneficial in the UAE.

ENBD X empowers customers by giving them control over their preferences, including security settings and spending limits. Furthermore, it helps them maximize daily savings through over 1000 personalized deals exclusively available to Emirates NBD customers in various categories such as travel, shopping, dining, and e-commerce.

One of the app’s standout features is its integrated digital wealth platform, enabling customers to invest and grow their wealth from the same platform they use for everyday banking needs. This unique feature sets ENBD X apart in the market, allowing new investors to instantly open an investment account and choose from a selection of over 11,000 securities and ETFs from 21 global and local markets. The platform’s Secure Sign feature enables customers to view, update, and sign investment documents, facilitating trades of any complexity or value without the need to visit a branch or contact a Relationship Manager. Additionally, customers can create personalized watchlists and subscribe to IPOs through this platform.

Since its launch, ENBD X has quickly become the preferred banking method for the majority of the bank’s customers, demonstrating a 50% increase in activity compared to the previous app in terms of logins and transactions. It has also garnered recognition and awards, including the Excellence in Mobile Banking Award from Finnovex Magazine, the Best Mobile Banking Application – UAE Award by Global Business Outlook, the Most Innovative Retail Banking App – UAE Award by Global Banking and Finance Review, and the Best Mobile Banking App in UAE Award from the International Finance Magazine.
