Delinea, a provider of solutions that seamlessly extend Privileged Access Management (PAM), introduced the Delinea Platform, a cloud-native foundation for Delinea’s industry-recognized PAM solutions that empowers end-to-end visibility, dynamic privilege controls, and adaptive security. The Delinea Platform supports the latest version of Secret Server, its award-winning vault solution, as well as a VPN-less secure Remote Access Service for vendors and remote workers and a rich integrations ecosystem through the Delinea marketplace.

84% of organizations have reported identity-related breaches in the past year, according to data by the Identity Defined Security Alliance. Since compromised identities are a prevalent factor in almost all cyber incidents, today’s complex IT environments demand a more unified strategy to cybersecurity. Organizations that implement cybersecurity mesh architectures will, on average, reduce the financial impact of security incidents by 90% by 2024, predicts Gartner. The implementation of a strategic platform for privileged access management is in line with a cybersecurity mesh strategy that pushes businesses away from a plethora of point solutions and toward a single platform that increases visibility while enhancing security and productivity.

The Delinea Platform enables organizations to manage and control access to their critical hybrid cloud infrastructure and sensitive data, reducing risk, ensuring compliance, and simplifying security. By utilizing the platform, organizations can manage privileged credentials through Secret Server, provide secure remote access for third-party vendors and contractors through Remote Access Service, and integrate with various IT and security solutions from the Delinea marketplace, all through a centralized cloud interface. These PAM capabilities offered by the Delinea Platform make it easier for organizations to take the first step towards PAM maturity.

It is challenging to confidently handle privileged access due to the growing number of siloed security tools and the exponential growth of human and machine identities with privileges. Organizations can manage the authorization of all identity types with unified and centralized management as more capabilities are constantly added to the Delinea Platform, allowing them to maximize productivity while enhancing security. Future improvements to the Delinea Platform will maintain the ability to provide seamless security across IT infrastructure with analytics-based access controls and adaptive privilege automation, ensuring that identities have the proper access with authorized rights at the proper time.

Phil Calvin, Chief Product Officer at Delinea said “The Delinea Platform will revolutionize the market by unifying and extending Privileged Access Management, dramatically reducing risk from the most common thread across all cyberattacks – compromised identities.”

Calvin added “We are excited to take this first step by unifying the critical and core PAM capabilities on the Delinea Platform to provide world-class usability, seamless security, and simplified pricing that will accelerate adoption for our customers.”
