MBZUH, Digital School Collaborate on AI Education

Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities (MBZUH) has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Digital School, a Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiative, to enhance learning opportunities through digital platforms and support sustainable development goals using artificial intelligence (AI) applications.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Najla Al Naqbi, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at MBZUH, and Dr. Waleed Al Ali, Secretary General of the Digital School. It aims to foster collaboration in digital education, exchange expertise, and develop advanced training and educational programmes.

Key initiatives under the agreement include implementing pilot projects in digital education, offering vocational training for students, and organising joint cultural and scientific events. These efforts seek to enhance communication and knowledge exchange between the two institutions.

The partnership will also focus on creating integrated learning opportunities, allowing students worldwide to engage with innovative digital curricula, promoting continuous learning and skills development to meet labour market demands.

Dr. Al Naqbi highlighted the significance of the partnership, describing it as a strategic move to strengthen digital education capabilities in the UAE and the region. “This collaboration allows the university to incorporate cutting-edge global technologies into its educational programmes, equipping students with essential skills to adapt to rapid digital advancements,” she said.

She further emphasised that the partnership aligns with MBZUH’s mission to deliver high-quality educational content supported by the latest digital tools.

Dr. Al Ali underlined the shared vision of both institutions, stating, “This partnership reflects a mutual commitment to spreading digital culture and embodies the UAE’s vision for educational leadership.”
