Nutanix (NASDAQ:NTNX), a global provider of hybrid multi-cloud computing solutions, has announced the launch of its Nutanix Unified Storage (NUS) Enterprise Volume Agreement (EVA). This new program is designed to offer enterprises a cost-effective and scalable way to manage storage across on-premises, edge, and cloud environments.
The NUS EVA targets organizations with large unstructured data footprints. It focuses on reducing costs, improving flexibility, and simplifying overall storage management.
The program includes two tiers—Gold 45PB and Silver 25PB. These options provide substantial storage capacity at a competitive price. With this, Nutanix enables enterprises to consolidate file, object, and block storage on a single, software-defined platform. This eliminates silos and supports seamless deployment across multiple environments.
According to Stuart Heade, EMEA Sales Director for Nutanix Unified Storage, the program helps enterprises move away from expensive, hardware-bound storage models. Legacy systems often require high upfront investments and ongoing hardware refresh cycles. In contrast, Nutanix Unified Storage offers a more agile and scalable experience across core, edge, and cloud.
The solution is especially beneficial for businesses running AI, machine learning, and analytics workloads. These workloads generate vast amounts of unstructured data and need high-performance, scalable infrastructure. Industries such as healthcare, financial services, media, and AI can gain strong value from this offering.
Among the key features are hybrid multi-cloud support, dynamic scalability, and built-in security. Nutanix also includes advanced ransomware protection, auditing tools, and compliance capabilities. This ensures enterprises can expand storage without vendor lock-in or operational complexity.
While public cloud storage may seem affordable, hidden costs like unpredictable pricing and data egress fees can add up quickly.
