Qatar Tourism has launched the Qatar Specialist Programme, a new interactive online training course designed to improve its global travel trade partners’ knowledge of Qatar’s diverse experiences and provide a recognized qualification for its global travel trade partners.

The advanced program, which employs cutting-edge digital learning methodologies, will replace the current Tawash program and contribute to Qatar’s goal of becoming a leader in service excellence. The Qatar Specialist Programme, which is available in 11 languages, provides trade partners with the necessary support, knowledge, and tools to more effectively promote and sell Qatar internationally.

The program, which consists of several modules, each focusing on a different aspect of Qatar’s tourism offering, gives participants flexibility by allowing them to complete each module at their own pace, aided by an intuitive, engaging educational tool. Interactive maps and knowledge check quizzes are among the features.

Leading International Markets, Philip Dickinson, said: “The Qatar Specialist Programme is another step towards supporting the global travel trade industry in working alongside Qatar Tourism to help drive significant growth in annual international visitor arrivals and welcoming six million visitors a year by 2030.”

The Qatar Specialist Programme focuses on different aspects of Qatar’s tourism offering, such as history, heritage, attractions, and experiences. Partners who complete the entire course will receive exclusive Qatar Specialist benefits and insider tips, as well as itineraries and the most up-to-date information on lodging and attractions.
