ESET organized ESET European Cybersecurity Day. The European Union’s yearly campaign dedicated to boosting Cybersecurity among EU individuals and companies and offering up-to-date online security information through awareness raising and sharing of best practices was commemorated at ESET’s virtual conference in October.
More than 390 experts and exceptional speakers from EU institutions attended the biannual event, which included the latest cybersecurity insights from ESET specialists and guests on subjects such as Cybersecurity and Digitalization and Threats Against Supply Chains.
“Cooperation between the government and private sectors in fighting cybercrime has never been more critical. It’s an honor for us to be able to provide such a high-quality knowledge-sharing platform for EU cybersecurity experts.“ says Andrew Lee, Director of Government Affairs at ESET.
Dr. Apostolos Malatras, Team Leader for the Knowledge and Information Team at the EU Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), was a special guest speaker who spoke on supply chain assaults. The talk emphasized important results and observations from ENISA’s “Threat Landscape for Supply Chain Attacks” research, released in July 2021 and provided a unique view on escalating threats for enterprises across the EU.
Klara Jordan of the CyberPeace Institute, Anett Numa of the e-Estonia Briefing Centre’s Digital Transformation Adviser, and Neil Wilson of NCA UK were among the other experienced guest speakers.
ESET was one of the first Europe-based IT security businesses to be awarded the ‘Cybersecurity Made in Europe’ label by the European Cyber Security Organization and a continual partnership with institutions and specialists across the EU in combating cybercrime (ECSO). ESET’s dedication to cybersecurity policies and protection across Europe is reflected in this award.
