Expand North Star 2023, available at, is catalyzing a resurgence in global venture capital investments, with Dubai serving as the launching platform for game-changing deep tech innovations. A record number of Indian startups will convene at the event’s new and iconic venue in Dubai Harbour for a four-day showcase.

Dubai is set to host the world’s largest startup event, with over 1,800 startups from 100-plus countries, including 200 groundbreaking Indian companies, choosing Dubai as the springboard for their global expansion. This event, hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, is part of Dubai Chambers and will take place from October 15 to 18.

The event will bring together innovators from India’s burgeoning entrepreneurial ecosystem, including globally recognized gaming pioneers accelerated by Google and pioneers in sustainable agriculture technology. These startups aim to attract investors and customers for their global growth plans.

One standout startup featured at Expand North Star is Noval Sustainability, introducing “DE-Carbon,” an animal feed protein derived from waste. This innovation promises to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of the animal feed and meat industries, addressing the global issue of food and protein waste.

In the gaming industry, Tuttifrutti Interactive’s “Sophia’s Adventures” fantasy-themed game, powered by Unreal 5 Nanite technology, will make a significant impact. The CEO, Ajish Habib, anticipates substantial growth and aims to redefine the female gaming market with this immersive gaming experience.

The event also features prominent Indian unicorn founders, such as Bhavish Aggarwal of Ola Cabs & Ola Electric and Abiraj Singh Bhal of Urban Company, who will share insights into the path to unstoppable success. Rajan Anandan, Managing Director of Peak XV and Surge, will discuss India’s thriving startup ecosystem and future plans.

Expand North Star 2023 marks a significant increase in Indian participation, highlighting the growing economic ties between the UAE and India. The Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement aims to double non-oil trade between the two nations from 2023 to 2030, reaching $100 billion.

With over 1,000 tech investors and venture capitalists from 70 countries, representing $1 trillion in capital, Expand North Star is poised to inspire and scale up the world’s most promising startups. This event, inspired by GITEX GLOBAL, will run alongside the world’s largest tech show, taking place from October 16 to 20 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, further solidifying Dubai’s position as a global tech hub. The combined efforts of Expand North Star and GITEX GLOBAL are expanding the tech takeover in Dubai, with a 40 percent increase in exhibition space.
