Could you provide an overview of your company and share what you’ll be showcasing at Gitex this year?

Maher Jadallah: Certainly! Tenable is the Exposure Management company with a global footprint. We serve approximately 43,000 organizations worldwide, helping them understand and mitigate cyber risk. As the creators of Nessus, we extended our expertise in vulnerabilities to deliver the world’s first platform capable of identifying and securing any digital asset across any computing platform. Our clientele includes around 60 percent of the Fortune 500, roughly 40 percent of the Global 2000, and numerous large government agencies.

At Gitex 2023, we are thrilled to showcase several cutting-edge solutions. Firstly, Tenable One Exposure Management Platform is a highlight, harnessing the power of generative AI to empower security teams like never before. It offers comprehensive vulnerability coverage across IT assets, cloud resources, containers, web applications, and identity systems, enabling organizations to understand and manage their exposure to risk. By unifying an organization’s entire attack surface, both on-premises and in the cloud, this platform aids security professionals in reducing the risk of cyberattacks.

Tenable will also be demonstrating its industrial security solution, Tenable OT Security, providing unmatched visibility into IT/OT segments and industrial control systems to protect industrial networks from cyber threats, insider threats, and human error. In this respect, we recently announced enhancements to our OT Security solution, offering increased visibility into Building Management Systems and improvements to Active Queries for effective asset enumeration and fingerprinting.

Tenable Cloud Security is another focal point. It enables continuous assessment of the security posture of cloud environments by maintaining a current inventory of cloud assets, streamlining vulnerability remediation, and preventing threats like zero-days from being exploited. We understand the critical importance of acting swiftly to protect organizations from vulnerabilities and threats.

Finally, Tenable Identity Exposure is a fast, agentless Active Directory security solution, which helps organizations detect and address vulnerabilities in Active Directory and Azure AD before they become business-impacting issues. By combining risk-based vulnerability management with Active Directory security, Tenable assists organizations in eliminating potential attack paths.

Are there any noteworthy product launches, partnerships, or milestones that attendees should keep an eye out for?

Maher Jadallah: Absolutely, it’s an exciting time in Dubai, with the UAE’s expanding economy driving organizations to invest in technology for growth. Tenable is keeping pace with these developments by evolving and developing solutions that cater to the evolving threat landscape and help businesses address their unique challenges.

One significant announcement is Tenable’s intention to acquire Ermetic, a cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP) company and a leading provider of cloud infrastructure entitlement management (CIEM). This acquisition marks an important milestone in Tenable’s mission to shift organizations towards proactive security. The combination of Tenable and Ermetic offerings will enhance our contextual risk visibility, prioritization, and remediation capabilities across infrastructure and identities, both on-premises and in the cloud.

This unified CNAPP, coupled with robust CSPM protection and leading CIEM, empowers security teams with the context and guidance needed for efficient and accurate risk remediation. With an intuitive user interface, even security professionals of all levels can swiftly spot and address risks, eliminating the need for them to be cloud security experts.
