HP Inc. announced new solutions that simplify and automate device management tasks, allowing IT to focus on what is most essential to their business and their workers. HP is dedicated to innovation at the core of hybrid, offering seamless solutions and experiences to assist people in adapting to new business models. HP’s complete range of hardware, software, and cloud-based services equips employees with cutting-edge technology to keep them productive, connected, collaborative, and secure – no matter where they work.
With hybrid work becoming more common, keeping track of employee gadgets has never been more difficult. IT departments are continually balancing priorities in order to meet the demands of changing work environments while also increasing productivity and enhancing employee satisfaction. Many organisations lack the resources to address the additional issues posed by remote work circumstances, despite the fact that 87 percent of enterprises include employee experience in their IT performance targets. Time spent managing devices and servicing users – no matter where they are – competes with time spent delivering on strategic IT projects. HP’s new solutions handle critical device management duties, increasing IT productivity and improving the employee experience.
“The future of work is now. IT teams are the heroes of today’s new working environment empowering employees to work from anywhere,” said Sumeer Chandra, Global Head and General Manager, Personal Systems Services, HP Inc.
He further added, “HP’s new management solutions are automated and scalable for the evolving ways people work. HP Adaptive Endpoint Management is the gold standard for managing PCs in hybrid working environments, to help ensure devices are secure, up-to-date, and fully supported.”
HP Adaptive Endpoint Management is a completely managed service that allows IT managers distribute PCs directly to employees with zero-touch deployment for IT managers who want to modernise and automate how they handle PCs. Employees can get to work in less than an hour by simply unwrapping their Windows PC and logging on with one-click, which instantly downloads their suite of software, making device setup quick and painless – all without having to engage with IT. HP Adaptive Endpoint Management also frees IT from managing PCs on a day-to-day basis. The solution automatically configures PCs with Microsoft Autopilot and enforces security settings via the cloud with the support of HP service experts. HP service experts may also provide cloud assistance for typically difficult legacy systems, speeding up their modernisation process. Even with numerous operating systems and manufacturers, HP Adaptive Endpoint Management securely handles increasingly spread PC environments.
HP Connect for Microsoft Endpoint Manager frees up critical IT resources by allowing administrators to remotely configure, secure, and update the BIOS of HP business PCs. IT can now customise over 100 different HP BIOS settings for groups of devices using policies. During initial setup, they can systematically send desirable settings to the correct devices, and alter settings remotely as needed – all over the cloud. HP Connect for Microsoft Endpoint Manager also enables IT to better secure PC BIOS from unauthorised alterations, removing the dangers associated with traditional password-based solutions.
“HP is helping customers take advantage of true enterprise mobility by removing barriers to cloud management adoption,” said Nicole Dezen, CVP, Device Partner Sales Microsoft.
“HP Connect for Microsoft Endpoint Manager gives the modern device administrator more control over HP specific device features by leveraging Microsoft Graph API for Intune. This demonstrates how new services and applications can be made possible through Microsoft Intune platform extensibility,” commented Nicole Dezen.
58 percent of ITDMs have accelerated the deployment of virtual desktops since the outbreak began. HP Cloud Endpoint Manager is a cloud-ready solution for IT departments looking for a more efficient method to install and secure thousands of HP Thin Clients using a modern and intuitive UI. The system, which can be used from any place via a web browser, helps IT prioritise their day by providing configurable dashboards with metrics and analytics that keep them up to date on deployments, device compliance, and server health. HP Cloud Endpoint Manager provides real-time notifications to IT professionals, allowing them to swiftly detect and handle issues while also saving time by automating routine administration tasks.
