HPE opens Sales Center of Excellence in Egypt

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has announced the opening of new Middle East and Africa regional Sales Center of Excellence (CoE) in Cairo, Egypt. The sales hub will meet customer demand for secure connectivity, remote work solutions, data analytics capabilities, and as-a-service solutions, which will capitalize on substantial growth potential in regional digitization and professional upgrade. HPE will also conduct a recruitment drive in the region to coincide with the announcement.

As part of HPE’s long-term commitment to Egypt, the new Cairo Sales CoE hub has been developed to create a scalable and competitive site focused on innovation and skills. The hub will serve as a catalyst for professional advancement and future leaders in the region. To recruit graduates and create local experience and capabilities for the technology industry, HPE will build on and deepen its ongoing partnership with local universities and research institutes and technology and entrepreneurship hubs in Egypt.

New employees for the Cairo Sales CoE are projected to nearly increase HPE’s present sales resources in Egypt as part of the expansion. HPE will also create new opportunities for apprentices, early-career hires, and experienced workers at the new hub. The graduate will work in sales, presales, sales support services, and channel sales and go through a structured training program, including a two-year Sales Academy. They will move across various sales roles in the region once they have completed the program.

The Cairo Sales CoE will enable HPE to deliver dedicated assistance and solutions for customers to help them overcome technological and business difficulties emerging from COVID-19 and promote digital transformation across the region. HPE is speeding up its edge-to-cloud strategy to give customers a truly distributed cloud model and cloud experience in Egypt and beyond, allowing them to expand the connection to branch locations and enable secure remote working experiences.
