Full-Series 5.5G Products Deliver Enhanced Capabilities
Huawei’s offerings include TDD multi-band multi-channel ELAA for 10 Gbps experiences, FDD full-series GigaGreen for upgraded basic experiences, mmWave AAU with the largest antenna array for continuous 10 Gbps coverage, and ongoing antenna and microwave innovations for efficient 5.5G construction. Notably, the industry’s first 128T MetaAAU, based on ELAA, enhances user experience by 50%.
Microwave innovation introduces the MAGICSwave platform to upgrade transport networks, supporting ultra-wide multi-channel transmission for improved backhaul efficiency, higher urban capacity, and extended suburban transmission distance over the next decade.
Huawei Introduces LampSite X for Enhanced Indoor Digital Experience
At MBBF 2023, Yang Chaobin, Board Member and President of ICT Products & Solutions at Huawei, unveiled LampSite X, a next-gen 5G indoor digital product solution. LampSite X aims to assist operators in creating new business opportunities and progressing towards digital intelligence.
Yang stated, “LampSite X brings unparalleled 5.5G capabilities indoors for the first time, comprehensively upgrading indoor digitalization.” With its lean design, easy deployment, and low energy consumption, LampSite X achieves a 10 Gbps experience, meeting consumer demands for a premium indoor experience and enhancing digital productivity across industries.
Setting a new benchmark for indoor digitalization, LampSite X can fulfill various indoor digitalization requirements with its compact size, weighing only 1 kg and having a volume as small as 1 L—the smallest and lightest in the industry. Despite its size, LampSite X offers robust performance, supporting all bands, radio access technologies, and widebands in a single box. It combines mmWave and sub-6 GHz, achieving a peak throughput of over 10 Gbps, making it the first to bring 5.5G 10 Gbps indoors.
