Intersec Saudi Arabia Prepares for Largest Event Yet, Anticipates Over 17,000 Attendees
Intersec Saudi Arabia returns for its sixth edition from 1-3 October at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC). Expecting 17,000 visitors, the event will feature expanded exhibition space and key summits on future security and fire protection.
Intersec Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabia’s premier trade fair for safety, security, and fire protection, is set to host its sixth edition from October 1-3, 2024, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC). Organized by 1st Arabia and licensed by Messe Frankfurt, the event, in association with the Ministry of Interior and Saudi Civil Defense, has grown significantly, with an anticipated 17,000 visitors this year—a notable increase from previous editions.
The exhibition space for 2024 will span 23,000 sqm across five halls and an outdoor showcase, marking a 34% increase from 2023. This expansion reflects the event’s stature as a key meeting point for industry professionals from across the GCC region.
Highlighting the event’s importance, Bilal Al Barmawi, CEO and Founder of 1st Arabia Trade Shows & Conferences, emphasized, “Intersec Saudi Arabia is tailored specifically to the needs of the Kingdom, serving as the largest and most crucial exhibition and conference for the security, safety, and fire protection industries.”
Expected to feature over 350 exhibitors from 27 countries, including prominent country pavilions from China, the Czech Republic, France, and the UK, the event will showcase a wide range of products across five key sectors: Commercial & Perimeter Security, Cybersecurity, Public Safety & Security, Fire and Rescue, and Safety and Health. Saudi-based companies alone will represent 29% of the participating exhibitors.
The conference program will include the esteemed Future Security and Safety Summit and the Fire Protection and Technology Summit, designed to address specific industry needs in the Saudi market. Riham Sedik, Show Manager—Intersec Saudi Arabia, Messe Frankfurt Middle East, highlighted, “These summits will unite industry pioneers to discuss current and emerging security threats and advancements in fire safety and technology.”
Key themes at the summits will include ‘Moving Beyond Security – How to React to AI’s Transformative Potential’ and ‘Robotics and Automation for Fire Suppression,’ underscoring the event’s commitment to exploring cutting-edge topics crucial to the industry’s future.
In addition to the exhibitions and summits, the Premium Club will facilitate networking opportunities for professionals, ensuring a seamless experience for key buyers and exhibitors.
Intersec Saudi Arabia 2024 will be held in Halls 1-5 at RICEC, with specific halls dedicated to various sectors, including Commercial, Perimeter, Homeland, Cybersecurity, Fire Health, and Safety.
