Juniper Networks, a provider of secure, AI-powered networks, announced several key milestones that highlight the company’s exceptional growth in the wired and wireless access markets. Juniper continues to outpace the industry in terms of market share growth, receiving ongoing recognition from the industry’s top analysts and delivering the best user and operator experiences, thanks to a modern microservices cloud solution with robust AIOps.

Key data points that support strong momentum include:

  • Fastest Growing Wireless: According to the most recent market share report from industry analyst firm 650 Group, Juniper Mist had the highest year-to-year revenue growth percentage in Enterprise Wireless LAN market share among the top 10 WLAN vendors in Q1 2022. During this time, Juniper’s revenue increased by more than 117%.

  • Strong Momentum for the Full-Stack AI-driven Enterprise: In Q2 2022, Juniper’s “Mistified” portfolio, which includes wired access, wireless access, and SD-WAN products managed by Mist AI and the cloud, increased by more than 60% year on year. In the same quarter, Juniper saw another record for new Mist customers, as well as record quarterly bookings for EX switches and Mist Wi-Fi.
  • Leader in Two Gartner Magic Quadrants: For the second year in a row, Juniper Mist has been named a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Wired and Wireless LAN Infrastructure (November 15, 2021). Gartner ranked Juniper first in “Ability to Execute” and last in “Completeness of Vision” among all vendors in this report. Furthermore, Juniper Mist was named a Leader in the 2022 Gartner® Magic QuadrantTM for Indoor Location Services (February 23, 2022), with Gartner ranking Juniper as the vendor with the greatest “Completeness of Vision.” Juniper is the only vendor to be named a Leader in both Magic Quadrants.

Juniper Mist received a 4.9 out of 5 overall customer rating, with 99% of respondents willing to recommend the solution (highest of any vendor). Furthermore, as of Q3 2022, Juniper Mist Wireless Access Points and Edge have a customer rating of 5 out of 5 on Gartner Peer Insights.
  • Strong Customer Traction: Juniper AI-powered Enterprise continues to win new marquee customers across all regions and segments. This includes five of the Global Fortune Ten, five of the top ten retailers, the largest healthcare provider in the United States, and several leading universities. Furthermore, Juniper outperformed other networking vendors by increasing E-Rate category 2 awards by 31% year over year.
  • Strong Partner Traction: Juniper saw an 81% year-on-year increase in partner-sourced business for the AI-driven Enterprise in Q2 2022. Since launching one of the industry’s only managed services-focused partner programs in May 2021, the AI-driven Enterprise has seen a 650% increase in new MSP partners signed. Today, Juniper also announced new features to the AI-driven Enterprise, such as an AI-driven dashboard, license management, and flexible payment options, to further simplify the consumption and operation of wired, wireless, and secure SD-WAN network services via Juniper partners to enhance their Network as a Service (NaaS) offerings.
