Kodak Alaris received an award from Ephesoft, Inc. for the Most Innovative Property Management Solution. The award was given out during Ephesoft’s Hackathon, where partners were challenged to come up with a unique use case for the company’s Transact IDP platform. They presented their proposal to the Ephesoft Decision Committee, which included the CEO, CTO, and VP of Product Marketing, after six weeks.
“We are thrilled to receive this award, which is a tangible endorsement of the value this partnership brings to our customers,” said Vanilda Grando, Global Business Development Director at Kodak Alaris.
She added “This global alliance provides organizations with access to best-in-class solutions to help them drive digital business. The integration of our intelligent capture technologies with Ephesoft is helping companies across many industries to automate paper-based manual processes, improve data accuracy, and significantly increase operational efficiency.”
Stephen Lee, Vice President of Sales, APAC, Ephesoft added: “The fully integrated KodakINfuse Smart Connected Scanning Solution and Ephesoft Transact offering, provides organizations with a best-in-class solution for image enhancement, capture, classification of varying document types and extraction. The joint solution can be used across many areas to help businesses automate their document-centric processing and provide true ROI, scalability and efficiency improvements. Our combined offering is a perfect fit for organizations looking to modernize their existing legacy applications as well and implement something that is lightweight, easy to use and will drive productivity with minimum maintenance.”
A global cooperation between Kodak Alaris and Ephesoft has resulted in the integrated offering. Through a combination of sophisticated document processing software, best-in-class scanners, and professional services, we are assisting organisations all over the world in simplifying and automating their digitization processes. The technology stack allows for fast data capture from a range of document types, as well as automatic data separation, classification, extraction, and validation for seamless integration into corporate processes and systems.
The award honours the two organisations’ creative technology collaboration, which enables real estate agents to instantly convert physical papers into useful digital data, allowing them to process their clients’ property-related bills more quickly and easily.
On behalf of their clients, real estate brokers are responsible for managing vast amounts of paper-based bills related to rental properties. This can be a labor-intensive and time-consuming process. Each billing organisation has its own document templates, which can make data processing difficult due to inconsistency and changing document quality.
Kodak Alaris used the INfuse Smart Connected Scanning System to construct an automated solution that pulls payment data from property bills and exports it into the correct format, streamlining the process. Documents are recorded and uploaded to a central location where Ephesoft Transact processes the data, allowing payments to be made through the real estate agency’s preferred financial institution. The capacity to extract crucial data from documents automatically, paired with machine-learning technology for indexing and classification, saves the time it takes to process bills dramatically.
