Kodak Alaris has introduced its newly established Business Solutions organization, accompanied by key strategic appointments, all aimed at assisting customers from diverse industries in achieving significant business value rapidly and on a large scale. The formation of this team aligns with the company’s mission to accelerate growth in intelligent document processing (IDP) solutions, including the renowned Kodak Info Input Solution and INfuse Smart Connected Scanning Solution, along with related professional services.

In today’s era of digital transformation, information capture plays a pivotal role. To cope with the sheer volume and complexity of data, organizations need an integrated approach that not only captures data but also intelligently processes, stores, and shares it. Kodak Alaris’ intelligent document processing solutions stand apart by blending decades of imaging science expertise, artificial intelligence, and advanced process automation. These solutions provide superior image capture, data extraction and validation, intelligent workflow automation, and ultimately lead to profound business transformations.

The proficient team of IDP experts in the newly formed Business Solutions organization will leverage Kodak Alaris’ strong heritage and expertise to bring the company’s growth vision to life. This involves re-focusing the go-to-market strategy across various functions, such as pre-sales, sales, business development, professional services, marketing, and product management, with the aim of delivering rapid and compelling business outcomes for partners and customers.

Heading the global Business Solutions organization is Jim Forger, who has been promoted to VP Business Solutions. He will directly report to Don Lofstrom, President, and General Manager at Kodak Alaris. With over a decade of experience managing the global commercialization of capture software and solutions, Forger is a valuable addition to the leadership team. Together, they will drive the company’s strategy to advance and accelerate growth within the global IDP market, which is projected to reach USD 5.6 billion by 2028.

Additionally, Bodo Wagener joins as the Global Solutions Sales Leader, bringing in two decades of experience in the intelligent document processing industry, including significant sales leadership roles with ABBYY. The team also welcomes Brent Wesler, an esteemed veteran in automated capture and IDP, as the Global Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer, with over two decades of experience in various leadership positions within the capture and document management domain.

Cindy Collins assumes the role of Global Delivery Manager, collaborating closely with regional service and sales teams to enhance customer engagements through solutions-led approaches, improve delivery processes, share best practices, and expand Kodak Alaris’ Professional Services capabilities worldwide. Furthermore, Jeff Munn, formerly a Product Marketing Manager for ECM vendor M-Files, has been appointed Global Solutions Marketing & Market Development Manager, entrusted with driving the company’s solutions marketing strategy and programs.

Excited about the prospects ahead, Don Lofstrom emphasized that the formation of the dedicated Business Solutions organization is an essential investment in the company’s growth plan, supporting strategic goals to explore new markets, form partnerships, and extend reach to new customers.
