“We’re very excited to discuss how our technology can help empower teachers and students of all ages in Saudi Arabia to teach and learn seamlessly,” said Loubna Imenchal, head of video collaboration, Africa, Middle East, Turkey, and Central Asia at Logitech.

She added, “We’re keen to demonstrate how technology can enrich learning, especially in remote and hybrid settings, and help Saudi Arabia achieve the aims of Saudi Vision 2030 to ensure that citizens have the required capabilities to compete globally.”

In Saudi Arabia, where over a third of the population is under the age of 14, and more than half of the population is under the age of 25, the education sector is becoming increasingly important. Furthermore, education is an important component of Saudi Arabia’s Human Capability Development Program, which is part of the Saudi Vision 2030.

Logitech will demonstrate a variety of cutting-edge solutions, including the Rally Bar video conferencing solutions for small, medium, and large rooms, and Logitech Scribe, an AI-powered whiteboard camera for meeting rooms and classrooms, as education increasingly relies on solutions to aid flexibility for hybrid and distance learning.

Logitech Rally Bar is a collection of the appliance and PC-based video conferencing solutions that operate with today’s most popular services like Microsoft Teams and Zoom. Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini have built-in AI and include Logitech RightSense technology and AI Viewfinder, as well as a second camera for computer vision and a built-in microphone. The camera identifies human figures in real-time and analyses their location, improving the precision of Logitech RightSight auto-framing and camera control so meeting attendees are always in focus, even if they arrive late or move around. The technology is perfect for professors who interact with students online since it allows them to move about freely without worrying about audio-visual difficulties.

Scribe, an AI-powered whiteboard camera for conference spaces and classrooms, will also be shown by Logitech. Logitech Scribe, compatible with top platforms like Microsoft Teams and Zoom, feeds whiteboard information into video meetings with stunning clarity, bringing everyone into the same room digitally. The device uses artificial intelligence to make the user invisible so they don’t get in the way of the information they’re creating on the whiteboard.

Synergy Research recently ranked Logitech as the best video conferencing hardware company in the world, with the company accounting for nearly half of all video conferencing devices sold and more than a third of the industry’s revenue in the first quarter of FY21.

Frost & Sullivan also designated Logitech the market leader in video conferencing equipment, recognizing the firm as having acquired the most market share due to outstanding performance, products, and services.
