In a significant development, ManageEngine, the enterprise IT management arm of Zoho Corporation, has introduced Identity360, a cutting-edge cloud-native identity management platform designed to tackle the complexities of identity and access management (IAM) within enterprise workforces. This groundbreaking platform will be showcased at the upcoming ManageEngine’s User Conference scheduled for October 3-4, 2023, in Dallas, Texas.

In addition to this, ManageEngine has announced a strategic enhancement to ADManager Plus, its on-premises identity governance and administration (IGA) solution. The enhancements encompass access certification and identity risk assessment functionalities. These two crucial additions are poised to bolster enterprises’ compliance efforts and mitigate security risks effectively.

In today’s digitally evolving workforce, characterized by the adoption of diverse technologies to streamline tasks and boost efficiency, identity management has come under the spotlight like never before. Enterprises are keen to empower their workforce with mobility while upholding stringent security standards and ensuring regulatory compliance. Handling identity complexity and delivering a seamless user experience have become paramount.

To meet these evolving workforce demands, ManageEngine is proud to introduce Identity360, a centralized platform that seamlessly integrates directories and applications to streamline user identity management. This robust solution enforces access controls across these integrated entities and offers end-to-end identity lifecycle management with workflow orchestration, empowering organizations to optimize their business processes.

“Organizations, regardless of their infrastructure and size, commonly encounter identity security and management challenges. Identity360 can help them securely transition to the cloud and effectively manage identities and their access to applications, all while enforcing strong security controls,” emphasized Manikandan Thangaraj, Vice President of ManageEngine.

Aligning with Compliance Requirements and Strengthening Security

Given the ever-changing landscape of cybersecurity and the imperative for organizations to demonstrate compliance with major IT mandates, ManageEngine has integrated access certification and identity risk assessment capabilities into ADManager Plus. These features empower organizations to align their security objectives with their business needs.

ADManager Plus’ identity risk assessment feature enhances cybersecurity readiness by preemptively identifying risks and offering real-time mitigation measures. Access certification campaigns ensure that users are granted only the necessary permissions to perform their roles, facilitating the implementation of segregation of duties and the principle of least privilege. This also serves as a means to demonstrate compliance with IT mandates.

Manikandan Thangaraj further commented, “When it comes to Active Directory, cyberattacks are primarily caused by issues related to security misconfigurations and privilege abuse. Implementing strong measures such as risk assessments and access certification campaigns can enhance the security of Active Directory, streamline audit processes, and ensure compliance.”

Key Highlights of ManageEngine’s IAM Solutions

– Centralized Universal Directory providing directory services and comprehensive identity reports.

– Streamlined management of user identities across integrated systems with advanced capabilities like orchestration, smart templates, and SCIM-based provisioning.

– Reduced password fatigue and unauthorized access risks with MFA-secured SSO.

– Enhanced security through periodic review and validation of access permissions, limiting access to network resources.

– Visibility into security gaps in Active Directory environments with proactive remediation measures.

The two-day User Conference in Dallas marks ManageEngine’s second major event in the United States this year, following the successful one held in Chicago in May. These User Conferences serve as ManageEngine’s flagship annual events, bringing together regional customers, partners, and senior company executives for IT leadership sessions, technical workshops, and networking opportunities.
