MetaTerrace, a lounge restaurant in the Central Park Towers of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), has been opened by ColossalBit. MetaTerrace is a one-of-a-kind establishment that merges the digital and real worlds in accordance with the metaverse principle.

MetaTerrace will open on December 30, 2021, in the Central Park Towers, an ultra-modern facility at Gate 32, DIFC. The lounge-restaurant, which is based on the metaverse, provides a unique opportunity for nightlife fans, blockchain aficionados, and thrill seekers to discover what the digital future looks like.
The MetaTerrace will feature its own virtual reality chamber for “metaverse experiences.” On a futuristic MetaTerrace, people will be able to travel alternate planets, meet like-minded folks, have beverages, and engage in NFT and crypto conversations – all at their fingertips. The first event, on the 30th, will feature live DJ music as well as a few surprises from ColossalBit. Ibiza Global Radio, which has a well-deserved reputation in the world of house music, will broadcast the premiere.
The recent rebranding of Facebook to “Meta” has sparked debate about the metaverse and how blockchain-linked asset classes like NFTs and crypto fit into the story. Since then, other major brands have entered the virtual realm, with Nike recently acquiring RTFKT, a creator-focused, “metaverse-ready” brand. Adidas recently sold its NFT line, which included G-Money, Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), and Punks Comic (a Pixel Vault creation), for more than $23 million in just a few hours.
As digitalization pervades every aspect of life, NFTs and metaverse-related advancements are projected to gain traction quickly.
