In a strategic move aimed at bolstering cloud technology adoption across Sub-Saharan Africa, Mindware, a prominent IT Value-Added Distributor in the Middle East and Africa, has unveiled its Cloud Marketplace in Ivory Coast. This initiative targets to cater to the burgeoning demand for cloud solutions and services in the region.

The newly launched Mindware Marketplace seeks to revolutionize the cloud procurement process by offering an unparalleled transactional experience to channel partners. With an extensive array of cloud solutions and services, the platform aims to facilitate seamless adoption for clients and partners not only in Ivory Coast but also in neighboring countries, leveraging the Central African CFA franc currency for transactions.

The primary objective behind the Mindware Cloud Marketplace is to emerge as the preferred cloud distributor, aggregating diverse cloud solutions and assisting partners in crafting and commercializing subscription-based cloud and Anything-as-a-Service (XaaS) offerings.

Mr. Silmi Khanfir, Director of Cloud at Mindware, expressed his enthusiasm about the launch, emphasizing the platform’s potential to streamline digital transformation journeys for partners and clients alike. He highlighted the convenience of local currency pricing and billing, coupled with a user-friendly interface and automated subscription management through API integrations.

This strategic expansion aligns with Mindware’s overarching geo expansion strategy in Africa, capitalizing on the promising growth prospects in Ivory Coast and West Africa. Moreover, the Cloud Marketplace empowers partners to establish and manage their personalized “white-labeled storefronts,” enabling direct provision of cloud solutions to end-customers across Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) domains.

Furthermore, the Cloud Marketplace’s intuitive interface expedites order placements and offers tailored recommendations to optimize solution selection, enhancing the overall user experience.

With Ivory Coast joining the network, the Mindware Cloud Marketplace now spans across ten countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Lebanon, Jordan, Morocco, and Tunisia, with over 500 transacting partners actively engaged within the ecosystem.

Mr. Khanfir underscored the accelerating shift towards subscription-based models within the past three years, attributing it to the growing demand for enhanced user experiences and the industry-wide transition towards XaaS and cloud consumption-based models. He emphasized the critical role of online marketplaces in meeting these evolving needs, citing the imperative for improved user experiences, automated ordering processes, and comprehensive insights into purchased solutions and services.

In conclusion, the launch of the Mindware Cloud Marketplace in Ivory Coast signifies a significant milestone in driving cloud technology adoption across Sub-Saharan Africa, underscoring Mindware’s commitment to empowering partners and clients with innovative solutions tailored to meet their evolving digital needs.
