Nigerian Ambassador praised Mr. Mahmood Ahmadu on signing MOU behalf of NAGCC. The Nigerian-Arabian Gulf Chamber of Commerce (NAGCC) ha signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nigerian Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investement ; to showcase Nigeria’s vast investment and trade opportunities to visiting dignitatie and business people worldwide at Expo 2020 , to be held in Dubai.

Mr. Mahmood Ahmadu, the President of the NAGCC. Mr. Ahmadu, a Dubai-based entrepreneur with global commercial interests, is a well-known philanthropist who has received praise from a number of international agencies and forums, including FORBES and EUROKNOWLEDGE, for his investments in development initiatives in Nigeria and other African countries.

At the rescheduled Expo 2020 event, the NAGCC and the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment will partner to highlight Nigeria’s trade and FDI potential. The alliance aims to use Expo 2020 as a platform to promote trade, business, and investment prospects between Nigeria, the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the rest of the world. In order to achieve this goal, the NAGCC will hold Investment Forums both inside and outside the Expo for the global business community, representatives from around the world’s governments, and other visiting dignitaries during the Expo’s six-month run.

“The eyes of the entire world will be on the upcoming Expo 2020″, says Mr. Mahomood Ahmadu.

Also said, “It will be a unique global platform, for Nigeria, and the Nigerian business community, to showcase the strengths, potential and opportunities within Nigeria – one of the largest and most dynamic economies in Africa, and at the same time, the event will also draw attention to infrastructure and asset gaps in Nigeria that can benefit from an increased influx of FDI, while also presenting a mutually beneficial growth opportunity for international investors”.

“I’m humbled to have been given the responsibility by the Federal Government of Nigeria, to showcase Nigerian innovation and industry, as well as boost trade and FDI into the nation, using the unique opportunity that Expo 2020 presents”, Mr. Ahmadu concluded.

Further comments, “The Expo has the potential to attract huge investments, lead to important agreements, and promote international cooperation and drive trade and investment. I was deeply touched and honored by the visit by His Excellency Mohammed Dansanta Rimi; his guidance will be critical in ensuring the success of the cooperation between the NAGCC and the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, to present the robust investment opportunities in Nigeria to the world”.
