DEWA’s R&D Centre registers a new patent for a solar PV robotic carrier

The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority's (DEWA) Research and Development (R&D) Centre has registered its sixth patent for a user-friendly robotic carrier capable of transporting solar photovoltaic panels easily and gently, as well as lifting them smoothly from any surface. It can also transport glass panels or any other sensitive materials that require special care. The carrier is self-balancing and has a wheel locking hinge mechanism that allows the wheel to move along the transported product, reducing human interference.
