Vectra AI, a provider of AI-driven threat detection and response solutions for hybrid and multi-cloud enterprises, announced the appointment of Taj El-khayat as Managing Director for Growth Markets.

Riverbed | Aternity reveals that 51% of business decision makers (BDMs) in the Manufacturing industry believe that half (50%) of their workforce will remain hybrid post-pandemic. Furthermore, the vast majority of Manufacturing BDMs (96%) believe that a hybrid structure would help them recruit talent and remain competitive. These are two key findings from the Riverbed | Aternity Hybrid Work Global Survey.

A hybrid workforce model allows organisations to take advantage of remote working with the collaboration opportunities of in-person working from the office. Organisations in the UAE are increasingly adopting the hybrid workforce models to continue their business operations and employee engagement. Compared to the global average of 32%, 47% of UAE organisations are prepared to shift to a hybrid workforce.

According to the Riverbed Future of Work Global Survey 2020, over two-thirds (68%) of UAE and Saudi organizations were not completely prepared to support remote working when the COVID-19 pandemic began.

Riverbed’s survey reveals that 29% of organizations in the UAE and Saudi Arabia have already completed migration of workloads to the cloud. This process is currently ongoing for a further 31% while an additional 20% of organizations will execute such migrations within the next two years.

The reality is that many organizations were not equipped for a true digital transformation or to embrace SD-WAN. This is set to change as we head into 2020. The digital transformation march will continue to move forward, along with the adoption of SD-WAN.
