Pinnacle, an ICT distributor, has announced the addition of Morpheus to its Pinnacle Cloud product portfolio. Morpheus is a multi-cloud management tool that provides users with business agility, security control, and operational efficiency – allowing them to create limitless possibilities with a single platform.
“By onboarding Morpheus, Pinnacle can support our clientele regardless of which cloud application they are currently running as Morpheus can be integrated into the majority of public and private clouds. Secondly, and important to note is the fact that Morpheus supports container management, which would generally need to be run on a separate silo but with Morpheus organisations can have one single view.” – Charlene Oosthuizen, Cloud Solutions Manager at Pinnacle ICT.
Morpheus was founded in 2010 when the Bertam Lab team needed an application automation platform. It now serves some of the world’s top Fortune 1000 companies and service providers. They built their own platform because they believed that the necessary platform for their needs had not yet been developed. Morpheus, a powerful self-service engine that had been used internally for 5 years, was released to the public in 2015.
Morpheus, which has been named a leader in the 2020 Magic Quadrant for Cloud Management Platforms and a leader in the 2021 ISG Provider Lens Next-Gen Private/Hybrid Cloud Global Report, aims to help complex organizations with simple integrations that take less than an hour, unified VM’s, clouds, containers, and applications that can be found in a single space, and the freedom to run any private or public cloud application.
