PowerSchool, a provider of cloud-based education software, has launched its fully translated and localized products for the United Arab Emirates, GCC, and Middle East. This move enables educators in these regions to utilize PowerSchool’s advanced technology with embedded Arabic translations, right-to-left interface display, Hijri calendar overlay, and more.

Educators can now access PowerSchool’s renowned Student Information System to manage student records and generate reports in Arabic. Teachers can enhance personalized learning using Schoology Learning in Arabic, and Arabic-speaking parents can complete digital school forms through PowerSchool’s Enrollment Express and Ecollect Forms in their preferred language.

PowerSchool’s Arabic product offerings aim to boost collaboration between schools and families, elevate student achievement, save time, and promote equity and access in Arabic-speaking regions worldwide. The development of PowerBuddy, PowerSchool’s AI-powered assistant, is underway to include multi-language support, with plans to launch in the Middle East soon.

“With the UAE and other GCC countries prioritizing digital transformation in education, we are excited to offer our educational and operational products in Arabic,” said Stewart Monk, Senior Vice President & General Manager, International at PowerSchool. “This aligns with our commitment to providing mission-critical support to education leaders for personalized learning globally.”

These localized products enable educators to:

– Engage with technology for learning intuitively.

– Foster collaboration skills among students in their primary language.

– Eliminate the need for manual translation, enhancing the learning process.

– Prioritize equity and inclusion for all students and families.

PowerSchool’s new office in Dubai, UAE, and its investment in Arabic products underscore the company’s commitment to the region and its impact on educational innovation across the GCC.

PowerSchool also released a Middle East version of its 2024 Education Focus Report, highlighting major educational trends in the region based on educator feedback.

“PowerSchool’s commitment to Arabic localization reflects their understanding of a diverse user base and inclusivity,” said Mohammed Essam, PowerSchool Lead at ESOL Education. “This investment fosters collaboration with Middle Eastern educational institutions, driving innovation and progress in the education sector. It’s a promising direction for both PowerSchool and the educational community in the region.”
