Rackspace Technology, an end-to-end multicloud technology solutions provider, is extending its Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) with a multi-year strategic investment to drive client value and innovation, announced a company press release.
The expanded agreement comes after Rackspace Technology’s AWS business has grown by 250% over the past 3 years and was named 2021 AWS Migration Partner of the Year (US & Canada).

The SCA includes an investment to assist customers in accelerating their application and data modernization initiatives through the global expansion of Rackspace Technology’s Modernization Center of Excellence, which builds on their years of experience working with the AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP). The two companies will also work together to help customers embrace a cloud-built approach by expanding Rackspace Technology’s Elastic Engineering, a service designed to assist customers in building and operating modern cloud environments while delivering ongoing innovation and transformation, as well as world-class 24x7x365 operations.
Furthermore, AWS and Rackspace Technology have formed specialised teams across both organisations to assist clients with AWS-specific strategy, cloud-built development, containers, application modernization, data, and workload management.
Rackspace Technology has over 2,000 AWS clients and over 1,000 AWS professionals on board. Their dedication to client success is evidenced by 81 published AWS case studies, as well as 15 AWS Competencies and 13 AWS Service Delivery certifications that strengthen the company’s ability to deliver knowledge across the whole range of AWS cloud services.
