ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW), the digital workflow company dedicated to improving global productivity, is enriching its training program by introducing partner courses. This expanded curriculum is part of the ongoing RiseUp with ServiceNow initiative, which aims to upskill one million individuals on the Now Platform by the end of 2024.

The initial partner courses to be integrated will be provided by Microsoft. This collaboration between ServiceNow and Microsoft leverages their combined technological expertise, offering individuals a more comprehensive education on two of today’s most widely-used platforms. This expansion of skills creates a larger talent pool for organizations seeking professionals proficient in both ServiceNow and Microsoft technologies.

Tony Colon, Senior Vice President of Customer Success at ServiceNow, emphasized the growing demand for technical talent skilled in ServiceNow and other platforms. He stated, “We must think more collaboratively about providing people with access to the training and certifications needed for building meaningful, sustainable careers.” By incorporating Microsoft courses into ServiceNow’s already extensive learning community, they aim to diversify the available education options, delivering a world-class training experience.

This comprehensive training program is designed to expedite the readiness of talent required for customers and partners to fully harness the capabilities of the ServiceNow and Microsoft ecosystems. Individuals can acquire foundational knowledge of ServiceNow and Microsoft tools through courses available directly on Now Learning, ServiceNow’s certification hub.

ServiceNow and Microsoft have maintained a strategic partnership since 2019, with notable milestones including the launch of ServiceNow on Azure for Regulated Markets in Australia and Singapore in 2021. In 2023, they expanded their offerings with new integrations for M365 and ServiceNow on Azure, catering to the US National Security Cloud and select commercial customers in the United States.

RiseUp with ServiceNow sets itself apart from other educational initiatives by covering a holistic range of skills crucial for building successful technical careers, including critical thinking, interpersonal communication, and creativity. Launched in October 2022, RiseUp with ServiceNow has already impacted 400,000 individuals, with 380,000 completing courses and 41 new academic and placement partnerships. Earlier this year, Amy Regan Morehouse was appointed Senior Vice President to lead ServiceNow’s global education efforts, including RiseUp with ServiceNow. Amy brings over a decade of experience in skills-based technology education, previously leading education, training, and Trailhead Academy at Salesforce.

In the near future, participants will have the opportunity to earn a ServiceNow IT Leadership Professional Certificate on LinkedIn Learning.
