Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has officially announced its partnership with Netflix for the highly anticipated immersive experience, “Squid Game: The Trials.” Leveraging Samsung’s cutting-edge technology, this pop culture extravaganza introduces an engaging and interactive gameplay using the latest Smart TVs and Galaxy smartphones.

Enthusiasts of the Netflix blockbuster series “Squid Game” and its spin-off, “Squid Game: The Challenge,” can now register for a unique encounter. This experience guides visitors through iconic sets, allowing them to partake in games inspired by the shows. Currently, “Squid Game: The Trials” is open for visitors in Los Angeles, with plans to extend to various cities worldwide into the new year.

“Squid Game: The Trials” utilizes Samsung’s state-of-the-art TVs and Galaxy mobile devices to deliver an unparalleled immersive experience during the games. Participants will traverse experiential zones surrounded by Samsung’s flagship Neo QLED 8K, 4K, and The Frame, strategically placed to intensify the excitement of the games.

At the entrance, Samsung’s flagship Neo QLED 8K welcomes guests with the “Squid Game: The Challenge” trailer. The Neural Quantum Processor 8K enhances the content in real-time to breathtaking 8K resolution, immediately immersing participants in the vivid world of the “Squid Game” universe.

Visitors can also engage with Samsung’s latest mobile innovations, including the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy S23 Ultra. Samsung seamlessly integrates key features with memorable scenes from “Squid Game” to provide opportunities for experiencing cutting-edge technology.

During the iconic Red Light, Green Light game, the Galaxy S23 Ultra captures key moments with Hyperlapse video and high-quality pictures. The S Pen plays a crucial role in the Digital Dalgona Challenge, enhancing the precision required for cutting delicate shapes out of Korean candy.

Gameplay photos can be instantly shared via Quick Share or downloaded through email. A FlexCam Selfie Kiosk, featuring the Galaxy Z Flip5’s FlexCam, allows hands-free photos from different angles.

Following the games, participants can retreat to the VIP room, where ongoing challenges can be observed on The Frame’s expansive 85-inch screen. The Lifestyle TV, equipped with Matte Display technology, offers a premium viewing experience reminiscent of the series’ commanding ambiance.
