The new program will promote collaborative initiatives in fundamental artificial intelligence (AI) research and will explore AI applications in domains such as healthcare, genomics and more.

Under the MoU, the new company will develop technologies and produce products around three main streams: Aeronautical Satcom Technologies, Satellite Modem Technologies and Enablement of other Satcom Products and Technologies. It will leverage the significant knowledge and expertise establishment in the UAE and will be complemented by select international experts to build a global leader in this sector.

Huawei’s partnership with EGS will enhance its existing infrastructure by extending EGS’s Solution Architecture and Design, ensuring that the Video Surveillance Solution and Command and Control Centre platform will form a reliable security model in the UAE aviation sector.

During a virtual signing ceremony, the agreement was signed by Fayez Ibbini, CEO, Alpha Data and Ouyang Dongyue, Managing Director of Huawei UAE Enterprise Business Group.

The partnership confirms Huawei as Ankabut’s long-term cloud solution provider and strategic technology partner, taking full advantage of the company’s end-to-end ICT technology.

As part of the collaboration, Tradeling is now a Benefactor Member of the French Business Council, opening doors to engage with over 8,000 qualified business contacts, and more than 350 companies represented by the Council, including multinationals and SMEs. Tradeling will also benefit from networking opportunities to share its journey.

Thales Emarat Technologies will work closely with Hub71 start-ups and other ecosystem members over the coming years to discuss and identify various collaboration opportunities. Hub71 members will have access to Thales Emarat Technologies events and workshops each year led by experts from Thales. In addition, Thales staff will join the Hub71 mentorship programme.
