Dubai, under the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of The Executive Council, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), is gearing up for the prestigious Global Prompt Engineering Championship, scheduled to take place in May 2024. With a remarkable prize pool of AED1 million, this championship represents a groundbreaking endeavor to harness the potential of Generative AI, a venture jointly undertaken by DFF and the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence.

This global event, hosted at the Museum of the Future, will encompass three key categories: literature, art, and coding. Its primary objective is to position Dubai and the UAE as a prime destination for Generative AI talent and innovation, while simultaneously nurturing a new wave of prompt engineering innovations.

Emphasizing Dubai’s proactive approach, inspired by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan underlined the city’s commitment to accelerating digital transformation and endorsing promising technologies. This challenge’s goal is to enhance the efficiency and positive impact of content creation across diverse domains using Generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, and other innovative applications.
