Sony Middle East and Africa (MEA) has unveiled a comprehensive range of 14 professional BRAVIA 4K HDR displays, catering to the specific needs of commercial environments. The newly launched BZ50L, BZ40L, BZ35L, and BZ30L series provide a wide selection of sizes, ranging from 43 inches to 98 inches, and offer exceptional reliability, picture quality, and compatibility. These displays incorporate the favorite features of Pro BRAVIA users, including unparalleled image quality, a wider viewing angle, professional capabilities, and a smart System on a Chip (SoC) platform.

One standout feature of the new lineup is the BZ40L series, known for its remarkable panel treatment, setting it apart from competing displays in the market. The BZ40L series boasts a state-of-the-art Deep Black Non-Glare Coating, offering high haze and low reflection, while maintaining deep blacks and high contrast.

Jobin Joejoe, Deputy Managing Director of Sony MEA, emphasized the growing demand for new technologies in the hospitality, retail, and medical sectors in the GCC region. To meet these evolving preferences, Sony has expanded its professional BRAVIA display offerings, introducing features like high haze, anti-reflection, and non-glare portfolios, which facilitate installations in bright environments with high ambient light levels. Joejoe also highlighted Sony’s commitment to sustainability, with the displays incorporating elements such as recycled plastic and reduced ink usage on cartons.

The latest professional BRAVIA display series includes various models, each designed to cater to specific requirements. The flagship BZ50L, featuring Sony XR processing and exceptional picture quality, offers a larger display size with 780 nits of brightness. Notably, it is approximately 22% lighter and has a 28% slimmer bezel width compared to Sony’s professional BRAVIA BZ40J series.

The BZ40L series stands out with its high brightness and non-glare capabilities. With X1 processing, these displays achieve 700 nits of brightness at a high 47% haze with anti-reflection. Additionally, the BZ35L series offers increased storage, 550 nits of robust brightness, and an X1 Processor. The BZ30L series, which completes the lineup, provides a full range of sizes, X1 processing, and 440 nits of brightness.

All 14 models prioritize sustainability, featuring SORPLASTM recycled plastic, reduced ink usage, and an optional stand to minimize waste. They also share common features such as 24/7 operation, easy configuration and customization with pre-sets, mirroring capabilities, simplified operations with Pro Mode technology, a uniform bezel design, flexible installation options, multi-display support for tiling, and a side logo for seamless blend-in designs. The BZ50L, BZ40L, and BZ35L series come with an increased internal storage of 32GB for enhanced flexibility. The portfolio offers easy mounting with a new center alignment rail kit, while the 98-inch options come with center-aligned VESA patterns. Moreover, a common chassis design simplifies the selection of suitable brightness models without requiring installation re-design.

The new professional BRAVIA display lineup is compatible with Sony’s Alliance Partner Network, allowing for seamless integration with established and emerging solutions providers in various applications, including corporate, education, transportation, and retail.

The new series will be available across the MEA region starting from August 2023, with a 3-year warranty accompanying the pro BRAVIA displays.
