Sophos, among leading global cybersecurity providers, is strengthening its dedication to its partner network through the introduction of Partner Care, a new initiative within its global partner program. Partner Care features a specialized team of Sophos experts available 24/7 to handle non-sales inquiries and operational support, aiming to expedite response times for Sophos partners and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) seeking assistance with administrative and operational tasks. This service enables partners to focus more on sales activities and ensuring their customers are secure with Sophos’ range of managed services and security solutions for endpoints, networks, emails, and the cloud.

Kendra Krause, Senior Vice President of Global Channels and Small Business Sales at Sophos, emphasized the significance of Partner Care in streamlining partner operations, stating, “Based on our extensive experience supporting partners serving mid-market and small business organizations, we recognize that administrative hurdles can detract from building customer relationships and pursuing new business opportunities.”

Partner Care provides partners with a centralized point of contact for quoting, navigating the partner portal, addressing licensing queries, and handling Not For Resale (NFR) requests, among other services. This focused support enables partners working with small and mid-market clients to enhance their efficiency and profitability.

Richard Wenger, an account executive at Point Broadband LLC, a Sophos channel partner in Alabama, expressed enthusiasm for the program’s benefits, saying, “The idea that Sophos now offers a dedicated Partner Care program and team is incredibly valuable. Every moment spent on administration is a moment away from nurturing client relationships and providing trusted guidance.”

In addition to Partner Care, Sophos is enhancing its global partner program by offering an additional 5% reward on top of deal registration discounts for partners selling Sophos Managed Detection and Response (MDR) until March 31, 2024.

To further support partners and MSPs in addressing industry challenges, Sophos provides real-time and historical threat intelligence from its Sophos X-Ops unit, a team of over 500 cybersecurity experts worldwide. This intelligence equips partners and MSPs to confidently tackle customers’ concerns regarding the latest threats, such as the recent resurgence of Qakbot, by leveraging Sophos’ updated detections and insights.

Sophos’ commitment to its partner ecosystem through initiatives like Partner Care underscores its dedication to empowering partners with the tools, support, and resources needed to succeed in today’s cybersecurity landscape.
