  • Sophos, a global cybersecurity leader, will participate in GITEX Global 2023, held from October 16 to October 20, 2023, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Sophos will showcase its advanced cybersecurity solutions and services, including Sophos Managed Detection and Response (MDR).
  • Sophos will introduce its new offering, the Sophos Incident Response Retainer, providing organizations with rapid access to Sophos’ fixed-cost incident response services, which include 45 days of 24/7 Managed Detection and Response (MDR). This retainer streamlines incident response, enabling Sophos experts to swiftly react to active cyberattacks, investigate, and initiate remediation. It also includes external vulnerability scanning and critical preparedness guidance to enhance security resilience proactively.
  • The company will also emphasize its comprehensive CSaaS platform, offering a unified interface for email, cloud, network, and endpoint security. This platform incorporates artificial intelligence, human threat analysis, and open APIs for integration with third-party tools and cybersecurity vendors, ensuring proactive protection.
  • Harish Chib, Vice President for Middle East and Africa at Sophos, highlighted the importance of Sophos MDR as an additional layer of security against evolving cyber threats. He emphasized the benefits of having 24/7 human experts monitoring and responding to intruder indicators to prevent full-scale attacks, such as ransomware.
  • Sophos Field CTO John Shier will also attend the event to present findings from the Active Adversary Report for Tech Leaders 2023 and discuss the impact of AI on cybercrime.
  • The report revealed that attackers took an average of approximately 16 hours to reach Active Directory (AD), a critical asset, highlighting the need for robust cybersecurity measures.
