AMD announced new confidential virtual machines (VMs) on Google Cloud, which will be powered by AMD EPYC processors.

Though there are 50 tech brands featuring in the latest ranking, more than 50 percent of the total brand value has been accounted for by Apple ($355b), Microsoft ($184.2b) and Samsung Group ($107.3b).

“AMD EPYC processors provide a powerful solution for Amazon EC2 customers that need access to impressive HPC performance and cloud scalability for their workloads,” said Dan McNamara, senior vice president and GM, AMD.
