Aster Hospitals, in a strategic partnership with 3M, announced the successful adoption of 3M M Modal Fluency Direct, the latest speech and AI-powered technology. Last month, the technology went live across Aster’s facilities in the UAE. The all-in-one solution will allow physicians of any medical specialty to create, review, edit, and sign clinical notes directly within electronic health records using natural language. This technology will standardize and accelerate clinical documentation processes across Aster hospitals, reducing the administrative burden on healthcare professionals.

Novartis, a global medicines company, and Aster DM Healthcare, one of the region’s largest healthcare providers, have signed an MoU in the areas of digital transformation and clinical research. Aster, which has a large network of hospitals, will have access to the advanced therapy platforms and data science of Novartis, a global leader investing in research and development.

Machine Learning (ML) and an artificial intelligence (AI) based analytical platform then process the data, creating timely alarms, analytical reports, and dashboards for day-to-day and predictive maintenance, forecasting, and planning.

At the heart of this converged network infrastructure is the Alcatel-Lucent OmniVista® 2500 Network Management System (NMS), which is tailored to provide Aster’s IT team with a single-pane-of-glass management platform. It also delivers the ability to monitor network traffic and critical functions and manage the end-to-end network from a web-based user interface.
