Abu Dhabi Department of Energy now an exclusive issuer of RECs

The I-REC Standard Foundation is a non-profit organization that offers a thorough attribute tracking standard for verifying and procuring renewable energy attributes, including power generation sources and related environmental indicators. According to this standard, the appointed Issuer of RECs must facilitate local implementation and accrediting principles within a defined and controlled area of electricity generation and consumption.

TIER reaches milestone of 100 cities

With TIER launching in Krakow, Poland, Europe’s shared micro-mobility provider is celebrating the milestone of being operational in 100 cities globally. Panasonic’s global dry battery shipments top 200 billion

In 1939, the company, a pioneer of overseas factory expansion, established its first production site outside of Japan in Shanghai. Since then, Panasonic has opened factories in several countries including Thailand, Peru, Costa Rica, Brazil, Belgium, India, Indonesia, and Poland, producing a cumulative total of approximately 150 billion dry batteries overseas.
