The GCF, which is hosted by the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), was founded in February 2020, during Saudi Arabia’s G20 presidency, as a worldwide platform aimed at making internet more resilient and better for everyone.

According to a recent Trend Micro poll, more than half of Security Operations Center (SOC) teams are overwhelmed with alerts and lack confidence in their ability to prioritise or respond to these warnings.

One of their most well-known tactics involves distributing ransomware designed to freeze organizations and interrupt or steal research and developments.
