WhatsApp is reportedly working on a feature that can transcribe voice messages, according to sources. The new function is now being tested on the iOS version of the instant messaging application, but it may eventually be available to both Android and iPhone users.
Stories are short bits of content that automatically delete themselves from public view after 24 hours. They were first made famous by Snapchat before being copied by Instagram, Facebook and Messenger, WhatsApp, Google, YouTube, Skype, Spotify, and TikTok.
Google’s regulations have altered several times, initially requiring workers to return to their pre-pandemic workplaces at least three days a week but later enabling them to apply for permanent remote work or a change in the office location.
Currently, Instagram, Twitter, and iMessage support this feature, and now WhatsApp will too. In the first stages, WhatsApp will develop a message that will be displayed if the user has an outdated version of WhatsApp that is unable to receive reactions.
This is the first time a machine has outperformed people in interpreting images to answer text questions, with Alibaba’s algorithm achieving an accuracy rate of 81.26 percent in answering image-related queries, compared to 80.83 percent for humans.
