The Executive Program was launched in September 2021 to support UAE government and business sectors—unlocking the potential of AI through practical applications to national challenges.
Mohamed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) has announced that the second edition of its Executive Program will commence at the end of March.
HE Dr. Al Askar discussed how UAE and Abu Dhabi have already progressed beyond hypothetical with tangible AI use cases, citing the UAE’s deployment of machine learning skills to localise a cardiovascular disease risk calculator last year as an example. This is expected to significantly cut operational expenses in health sector by proactively identifying and treating hazards before they worsen.
The programme will consist of six courses, each taught by teachers from world-class academic institutions, global multinational CEOs, and the university’s own faculty. Encouraging increased AI collaboration between government, business, and academia in future of UAE.
ProfessorEric Xing, President of MBZUAI, said: “From the moment we welcomed our first students, we aimed to welcome the world to Abu Dhabi to advance AI and solve some of the world’s great challenges. Our second cohort reflects the diversity of skills and backgrounds in the development of technology, thereby the betterment of businesses, society, and economies in UAE and beyond.”
