The MoU was signed virtually by His Excellency Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Chairman of the MBZUAI Board of Trustees, and Weizmann Institute President Professor Alon Chen.

The Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) has launched online courses for its accepted inaugural cohort students ahead of the academic year starting on January 10, 2021. The University has recently extended admission offers to 100 students from 31 countries, with nearly 90 per cent of the admitted students having already accepted their offers.

MBZUAI has also recently extended admission offers to 100 students for the first academic year commencing in January 2021, with nearly 90 per cent of the admitted students having already accepted their offers.

Commencing July 7, the AI-focused webinars will be conducted monthly by the leadership team and faculty members at MBZUAI, and will be open to public through video conferencing. MBZUAI Talks will provide participants a platform to gain insights into the field of AI.

As Executive Vice President for Outreach and Engagement, Dr. Al Yousuf will oversee the University’s external partnership mission, including outreach with the broader community, government agencies, and industrial partners.
